Her words to live by: “Power, for me, is the ability to do good things for others,” she once told Harper’s Bazaar magazine. “I have the means to do it, thanks to Vincent’s money, and the act of giving makes me powerful inside. I would tell anyone, if you have enough money for three meals a day and you’re not too busy, you ought to do something for others.”

There was another animal story I saw at one point but I couldnt find it when I went back to look (and can’t remember what it was) but I did find this elephant story from last month.

Mark Frauenfelder: A couple of years ago, Rudy Rucker posted an entry about the boy scout who tried to make a nuclear reactor in his garden shed. Years later, he’s been caught again trying to do the same thing.
